Title: Bonnie Parker

Description: Bonnie Parker (1910-1934), American criminal, and Clyde Barrow (Clyde Champion Barrow; 1909-1934), American criminal, who, along with a few relatives and friends, robbed gas stations, grocery stores and small banks, while murdering at least a dozen persons; in this 1933 snapshot, Bonnie ostensibly gets "the drop" on her fellow robber and sometimes paramour, Clyde; they and a few members of their gang lived as desperate fugitives for almost three years, sleeping mostly in their stolen cars and seldom bathing (one gang member complained that "Bonnie and Clyde stunk like rotten cheese"); both were riddled to death (each struck by more than fifty bullets) by a six-man posse hiding in ambush as the two slowly drove a stolen car down a dirt road outside Gibsland, Louisiana (Bienville Parish) on May 23, 1934.
