Description: Zivia Lubetkin (AKA: Celina; 1914-1976), Jewish resistance fighter in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising and the only female member of the high command of the resistance group ZOB; she escaped through the Warsaw sewers when SS General Jurgen Stroop (1895-1952) ordered the complete destruction of the Ghetto in April 1943; Lubetkin took refuge in the Aryan side of Warsaw and later joined in the Polish defense of Warsaw in August 1944; she survived the war, married Yitzhak Zuckerman (Icchak Cukierman; 1915-1981), leader of ZOB, and moved to Palestine in 1949 where they established a kibbutz; she testified against Adolf Eichmann at his 1961 trial;
