Description: Former Chicago Cubs baseball players and National Baseball Hall of Fame Inductees, Johnny Evers (John Joseph Evers; 1883-1947) (Left) and Joe Tinker (1880-1948) (Right). Evers and Tinker were members of the Cubs during their World Series Championships in 1907 and 1908, with Evers manning second base, and Tinker playing shortstop. Evers played professional ball from 1902-1929 while amassing a lifetime batting average (BA) of .270 with 1,659 hits and 538 runs batted in (RBI), while Tinker played from 1902-1916 while accumulating a career batting average (BA) of .262 with 1,687 hits and 782 runs batted in (RBI). Both Evers and Tinker were elected into Cooperstown in 1946 by the veterans committee.
