Title: Saboteur (1942)

Description: The climactic scene at the top of the Statue of Liberty where spy Norman Lloyd (November 8, 1914- ) clings literally by threads in the grasp of hero Robert Cummings (Charles Clarence Cummings; June 10, 1910-December 2, 1990) in the suspense film Saboteur (1942), directed by Alfred Hitchcock (Alfred Joseph Hitchcock; August 13, 1899-April 29, 1980). Like so many Hitchcock heroes, Cummings has been wrongly accused of a heinous crime, in this case setting fire to an aviation plant in which many died, including his best friend, and who sets out to vindicate himself in a harrowing cross-country journey, evading police and outwitting spies all along his adventurous way.
